The WINDOWS series: recognizable elements of openings in various architectural styles.
Made out of layered, hand-cut Arches 300 gsm natural white watercolor paper, 100% cotton paper that is acid-free.
Each window is not meant to be a replica of a place that exists, but rather, an amalgam of different locations sourced from around the world.
WINDOWS: JALI
Inspired by Islamic geometric patterns, a jali or jaali is the term for a perforated or latticed screen.
WINDOWS: ROSE
Inspired by circular stained glass windows commonly found in churches, especially of the Gothic architectural style.
WINDOWS: SHOPHOUSE
Inspired by shophouse buildings commonly seen in Southeast Asia.
WINDOWS: VENICE
Inspired by Venetian palazzos and their balconies.
